Cognize Homo Sapiens and keep health high

Develop and use your talents and others, for the benefit of SD and the peace

                     share & unite

Share useful knowledge, gain allies, cooperate peacefully.

EcoSanaClub is a concise and intuitive formula for sustainability that can be used at different levels:

Most importantly, explain and shape the right behavior/life habits that will give Homo Sapiens and descendants the opportunity to survive! All information on the site is grouped in the main areas:

On April 22, 2020, the UN-established Earth Day, the 50th anniversary, was held.  But the birthday girl is already 4.5 billion years old!  If we imagine the age of the Earth as 100 years clear to us, then people (Homo Sapiens) live on it only one day!  And, for example, viruses, 85 years!  With one of their representatives (COVID 19), we recently "acquainted" and still live under its occupation! But man (generalized) has long considered himself the Master on Earth! It destroys other representatives of Flora and Fauna, plunders the bowels of the Earth, which accumulated millions-billion years, pollutes forests, pollutes rivers, seas, oceans, atmosphere, spoiled climate, etc.  But came a tiny virus (which, however, is about 4 billion years old and he is the luca the ancestor of all life on Earth), and showed everyone who has eyes and minds that: A person should not be asked, but should be treated with respect by the planet's neighbors and to her; It is necessary to carefully study the "instructions for the exploitation" of the Earth and everything that is on it and observe them. And not to get involved everywhere with their disproportionate inventions and innovations, often only for the sake of vanity and comfort; Nature (water, air) can still be cleansed if it is not contaminated and it is beautiful; People can act intelligently and collectively, help each other horizontally to solve life's issues; Scientific truth exists, and knowing it in a critical situation is vital; A person still has a lot to learn to know himself and his community. And learn how to behave and interact with others; It is necessary to spend less energy and resources on wars and conflicts, and more on education, medicine and reasonable arrangement at all levels - from home, settlement, to country and the world as a whole.

This is what our long-term  ECOSANACLUB, project is aimed at, which we decided to modernize and start to promote more actively and on a more substantial scale on Earth Day.

Our mission: promoting the conservation of Nature and Homo Sapiens, the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (17SDGs UN), the European "EU Green Deal" pact, the Russian National Ecology Project and local sustainable development projects

Cooperate for SDGs

ESCape to life!

All of these 17 goals are important, ratified by two hundred countries at the UN General Assembly, including our country.  But we will focus our efforts on the disclosure of seven, from our point of view, the most significant and relevant:

Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

Goal 4 Quality Education enables upward socioeconomic mobility and is a key to escaping poverty.

Goal 11: Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable

Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

Goal 15: Sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, halt biodiversity loss

Goal 16: Promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies

17 Goals to Transform Our World

The Sustainable Development Goals are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet.

brave youth and famous mentors

The ecoguard is the youth wing of the ESC community, also working globally. It is very important that the younger generation grow up with the understanding that the Earth is our common home, which should be treated with care and love.  Since the younger generation does not yet have enough experience, knowledge and influence to effectively address sustainable development issues, we call on the commanders-mentors of the eco-guard, experienced senior comrades, to help them.

The next level is Civilization/region

Europe is the leading continent in promoting sustainable development. The start of the European sustainable development process can be considered the Aalborg Charter, which was approved by the participants of the European Conference on Sustainable Development of Cities and Towns in Europe, held in Aalborg (Denmark) on 24-27 May 1994. The conference is organized by the International Council on Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI). The Council on Local Environmental Initiatives, together with the Ministry of Urban Development and Transport of North RhineWestphalia (Germany), assumed responsibility for the drafting of the Charter. The Charter reflects the ideas and language proposed by a large number of participants. The Aalborg Charter was originally signed by 80 European local authorities and 253 representatives of international organizations, national governments, academic institutions, consultants and individuals. By signing the Charter, representatives of cities and towns and cities pledged to participate in the preparation of local "Agenda for the 21st Century" and to develop long-term action plans for the transition to sustainable development, as well as the initiators of the "Sustainable Cities of Europe" campaign. The first signatory of the Charter from Russia was the city of Pushkin.

culture for future

From October 2019. Under the auspices of the Russian Creative Union of Cultural Workers (RTSRK), the Cultural and Arts Workers Guild has been established in support of sustainable development goals.

The Guild is an informal creative association of experts in promoting sustainable development through cultural and arts projects across the European continent.   The Guild aims to fully promote the UN's Sustainable Development Goals by engaging cultural and arts figures in conscious action to promote the values of sustainable development, and to adjust the vector of popular culture for sustainable development.   Valery Waskalenko was the head of the Vakulenko Guild.   Members of the Guild can be citizens of the Russian Federation and other states, accepting the value of sustainable development goals and meeting the statutory requirements of RTSCR (cultural and arts figures, environmentalists, public and political figures, media representatives, other experts in the field of sustainable development),   Anyone with the desire and opportunity to become a member of the Guild and contribute to its goals is asked to contact us.    Telephone to contact 7 921 9333500     It is important to act every day! It depends not only on our common well-being, but also on the survival of the human species on Earth.

Russia is the largest country in the world. And we have a special responsibility for what happens to the world's ecology.

The next level is

At this level, we look at solutions in the areas of ecology, health and social well-being of cities. We have experience in implementing various city-wide projects in Sochi, in South Karelia in Finland and in the Tsar's village of St. Petersburg.

Developing Pushkin as a model ecocity for Russia

Ecocity is a city that develops by EcoSanaClub formula.

Environmentally and economically prosperous city, that improves health of the residents and has favorable environment in society (without any social tensions or conflicts).

The city of Pushkin and the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg have the potential and active civil society to become a show-room of urban sustainable development for small and medium-sized cities of Russia.

As Public Council we promote and try to secure that town Pushkin is developed according to sustainability principles. We try to educate society and decision makers as well as enable efficient communication between different stakeholders and spur actions.

In our activities we are guided by UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We consider our actions, publications and projects with respect to one or several Goals. By doing that, we aim to show how local initiatives and simple at first glance actions can contribute to the realization of global goals.

E_SDG goals_icons-individual-rgb-11.png
E_SDG goals_icons-individual-rgb-17.png

Mostly we focus on 11 and 17 SDGs. However, urban development influence many other Sustainable Development Goals as well and we try to show these patterns as well.

Directions of our work under "Sustainable cities and communities" were specified with regard to years of experience of ICLEI- Local Governments for Sustainability global network.

After lengthy discussions, we focused on the 10 urban development agendas adopted in the Basque Declaration 2016. It was the Declaration in 2016 that became a symbiosis of the 17 SDGs and the experience of sustainable urban development that is relevant to EU conditions.

Декларция Басков и 17 ЦУР ООН

EcoSanaClub formula is our communication tool to spread SDGs values to the public.

It was invented by Valery Vakulenko, chairman of the Council, about 20 years ago, before SDGs were established.

EcoSanaClub engage people into SDGs actions through the core values of every human: good environment, strong health and positive social environment.

Learn more about EcoSanaClub

The goal of the Ekograd-Pushkin project is to develop and implement the concept of the development of the town Pushkin, which will give impetus to the sustainable development of a small Russian city.

In our opinion, in order to spur the sustainable development of Russian cities, it will be useful to create a model “eco-city”, where representatives of other towns and cities could come to see how issues of the present can be adressed.

We invite Russian and foreign professionals and enthusiasts of eco-development, business, scientific and public organizations, active citizens and responsible authorities to join.

Together we will make Pushkin a pilot project for planning and implementing a sustainable development strategy for the Russian city. The experience gained will be a valuable tool in the eco-modernization of other small cities in the country.

Our current activities

One of the global problem is that the quality of the human environment, nature, is declining. The human environment is degrading, adversely affecting human health.

To preserve the health of the population of the Earth in the interests of every person. To solve this problem, it is necessary to change the usual paths of development from the scale of an individual apartment to a planetary one.

Russia announced a course for sustainable development in 2018. Vladimir Putin approved by May decrees the development plan of the country until 2024. Thus, the country is facing global goals to increase life expectancy, improve the quality of public health and preserve Russian nature in order to save people's lives.

Russia is one eigth of the land and on the 9th place among all countries in terms of the world's population. Moreover, about 75% of the population of Russia lives in cities. The country has the resources and potential to address the challenges of sustainable development. The development patternof a country of this scale involuntarily influences the development of its closest neighbors and the planet as a whole.

Pushkin is a universal city example to create a show-room on sustainable development. On one hand, it is a district of St. Petersburg, the city of the Federal significance. On other, Pushkin is an independent small town, like the majority in Russia. The concept developed on its basis will be indicative for various cities and towns of our country.

Cultural heritage

Pushkin is of unique historical significance for Russia. It is architectural, landscape, cultural and historical heritage. Peter the Great founded the city as an imperial country residence - Tsarskoe Selo.

The town is included in the list of UNESCO heritage sites.

Educational capacity

Pushkin district has a great intellectual potential. It is the center of agricultural science and education. In the area is located St. Petersburg State Agrarian University.

District of innovations

It is planned to build in the district a branch of Skolkovo by 2027, the ITMO Highpark Campus, which will become an innovation center.

Ecological situation

Pushkin district is recognized as one of the cleanest areas of the city. This is facilitated by the natural microclimate of the area and a large number of parks and green areas.

Active citizenship

Municipal authorities and local residents of the city are aware of its importance and ready to support the sustainable development of the city.

Citizens are worried about the fate of their native city. They are united in public organizations. Citizens express and defend their right to a favorable urban environment.

Our vision

Pushkin is a model eco-city for Russia, the window to Europe for introduction of integrated practices for sustainable urban development.

On Pushkin-case, we want to show how to maintain and improve the quality of the urban environment and the life of citizens during the development of cities.

The experience gained is to be broadcast for other cities of our country.

Why Pushkin?

Town Pushkin has rich architectural, landscape, cultural and historical heritage. Peter the Great founded the city as an imperial country residence - Tsarskoe Selo.

Pushkin is included in the list of monuments protected by UNESCO.

Municipal authorities and local residents of the city are aware of its importance and are ready to support the sustainable development of the city.

Our why

Cities have become the main element connecting man and his natural habitat.

Cities have a strong impact on the environment: they consume natural resources, displace natural ecosystems. The quality of the urban environment determines the physical and psychological health of a person.

Sustainable urban development is a real factor in economic growth and social harmony.

First steps

Pushkin has already committed himself in the international arena for the sustainable development of the city to and in conjunction with more than 3,000 cities from 40 countries.

On June 28, 1998, the city of Pushkin signed the Aalborg Charter

We, European cities & towns, signatories of this Charter, state that in the course of history, our towns have existed within and outlasted empires, nation states, and regimes and have survived as centres of social life, carriers of our economies, and guardians of culture, heritage and tradition. Along with families and neighbourhoods, towns have been the basic elements of our societies and states. Towns have been the centres of industry, craft, trade, education and government.

We understand that our present urban lifestyle, in particular our patterns of division of labour and functions, land-use, transport, industrial production, agriculture, consumption, and leisure activities, and hence our standard of living, make us essentially responsible for many environmental problems humankind is facing. This is particularly relevant as 80 percent of Europe's population live in urban areas.

We have learnt that present levels of resource consumption in the industrialised countries cannot be achieved by all people currently living, much less by future generations, without destroying the natural capital.

We are convinced that sustainable human life on this globe cannot be achieved without sustainable local communities. Local government is close to where environmental problems are perceived and closest to the citizens and shares responsibility with governments at all levels for the well-being of humankind and nature. Therefore, cities and towns are key players in the process of changing lifestyles, production, consumption and spatial patterns.

Pushkin is one of the 17 cities in Russia that signed the Aalborg Charter.

What's next?

By signing the Aalborg Charter, Pushkin acknowledged its' role in the process of sustainable development.

It is necessary to take a step further - to take the Aalborg Obligations to allocate areas for focus in sustainable prosperous development. And act!

Most immediate action plan

Establish an international consortium that will bring together eco-development professionals who plan to expand on the Russian market for modern eco-friendly equipment and solutions, mainly from Russia, Finland and Sweden.

Develop the cooperation between the Lyceum of 410 Pushkin and the Finnish-Russian School of Eastern Finland. First of all, enable the experience and knowledge exchange in the field of ecology: introduce separate garbage collection and other areas.

Current work

Public Council on Sustainable Development of Pushkinsky district leads and organise the activities to ensure realization of Ecograd-Pushkin model.

To achieve Ekohrad-Pushkin the Council is working on and is supporting the implementation of the EcoSanaClub formula across the city in 10 directions.

Directions identified with regard to the Basque Declaration and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Greenfield land and natural space
Local economies and employment

Water resources and air quality

Join us to make Pushkin show-room of sustainable development for Russian cities!

Our achievements

The spirit of the Aalborg Charter is close to the citizens of Pushkin. They are working for the sustainable and prosperous development of the city and district leading different organizations and associations.

Bringing people together

In 2012, the citizens united in the Pushkin Green Initiative Group. Together they developed guidelines for the organization of walking and cycling routes around the Pushkin District.

Later the group evolved into the Center for Environmental Development at the Pushkin and Pavlovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Working with VTT

In 2012, the largest research center of Finland VTT got interested in the project of integrated eco-Development of a small Russian town.

Together with VTT experts in the field of territorial eco-development Pushkin prepared a plan to create a scientifically based model for the successful implementation of the project.

Conferences on Sustainable Development of Pushkinsky district

Since 2013 the group of activists organizes scientific and practical conferences on the sustainable prosperous development of the Pushkin District, holds meetings of working groups, seminars and round tables.

Public Council

In 2015 the Center was reorganized into the Public Council on Sustainable Development of Pushkin District of St. Petersburg.

The Council became a platform for finding solutions, forming common approaches and reinforcing the efforts of government, business and civil society.

Public speeches

During 2016 the Chairman of the Pushkin Council Valery Vakulenko, presented the concept of Ekograd-Pushkin at different events, for example the III All-Russian Forum of Living Cities. The title of the speech was “How to create the most beautiful and prosperous city of Russia and keep it (for example Tsarskoye Selo - Pushkin, Pavlovsk)”.

Partnership with Finland

Mayor of Lappeeeranta Kimo Järve and Shirokov Peter Ivanovich, Advisor to the Head of the Administration of Pushkin District negotiated cooperation strategies between Lappeeranta and Pushkinsky District. Chairman of the Public Council assisted in organisation of the seminar "Business and investment in Finland. Sustainable development of green technologies" to enable this meeting (Dec2016) .

Letter to the President

In January 2017 Pushkinsky Council sent a letter to Russian President Putin V.V. "On the creation on the basis of Pushkin model eco-city for other Russian small and medium cities".

Agreement with Cleantech Cluster

In March 2017, the Public Council  signed a Cooperation Agreement with the International Consortium " St. Petersburg Cluster of Clean Technologies for the Urban Environment ".

2019. The conference on sustainable well-being of the Pushkin district was held in an unusual format.

In May 19, at the invitation of the German side, a delegation of the Council for Sustainable Well-Being of the Pushkin District of St. Petersburg attended the GREENSITI festival in Munich.

In October, the German delegation arrived at a similar festival organized by the Council in Pushkin and Gatchina. And within the framework of this festival, the 7th Scientific and Practical Conference on Sustainable Development of the Pushkin District with the same name "GRINSITI" was held.

As part of the festival, workshops were organized on separate garbage collection, on the implementation of the ecosanaCLUB concept, on reasonable consumption and collective use of things, performance of various creative groups.

ECOSANACLUB is our estate prescription:

ECO-friendly & ECOnomiс

salutary, maintaining good health

socially comfortable environment, like a club

Global concepts such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of UN, New Urban Agenda, Basque Declaration provide vision and common directions for sustainable development of human habitat.

Local sustainability agenda for Russia is reflected in the May Presidential decree of 2018, where health and prosperity are highlighted as main national goals.

Green building standarts, such as LEED and BREEAM, set many criterias for estate to match to be eco-friendly.

All mentioned above concepts are vital to follow. However, the global scale might scare away. Even for interested person it would be unclear how he or she can contribute to sustainable development.

Our life and professional experience in real estate formed our sustainability prescription ECOSANACLUB.

It combines three values touching everyone: eco-friendliness and economical efficience (Eco), salutary or good health (Sana ) and relationship between people (Club).

ECOSANACLUB is a navigator on a way to sustainability for person unfamiliar with the global concept. The formula operates three notions that touch every persons life no matter the background or proffesional occupation.

ECOESTATE lead n=by example and realize ECOSANACLUB concept in different scales from personal flat to larger properties and even settelments with dozens of houses.

We learn to combine environmental and economical effect during construction and operation of real estate. We learn to enable harmonious relations in the community, to preserve health and longevity by investing in the right property.

EcoSanaClub property for more than 80 people

During the construction of the ecohotel we preserved and maximally used the natural potential of the territory: the residential buildings erected around a bamboo grove, without cutting down a single tree. EcoMobiStudio (EMS) - is our development - type of building that settle and dismantle without a trace for the environment. We invest in our energy efficiency by implementation of solar panels, rainwater and other sustainable solutions.

We motivate our guests to lead healthy lifestyle: provide bicycles, sports and tourist equipment for rent.

Our rooms' ergonomics allow guests have a good sleep.

Bamboo Khutor is recognised by our guests as "a green oasis in the concrete jungle of Sochi".

Let's dwell in more detail on the Project "Bamboo Khutor" as the most revealing. The hotel's concept is expressed by the EcoSanaClub formula, which assumes that the accommodation should be:

eco-friendly and economical (Eco)

health-improving, non-harmful health (Sana)

uniting people, creating a conducive environment for positive communication (Club)

- The type of new buildings for the territory should provide installation and subsequent dismantling of structures with minimal costs and without harm to nature

- The hotel rooms are comfortable for guests, ergonomic, with modern equipment

- During the operation of the hotel, the consumption of resources should be minimal, high energy efficiency is ensured

- The materials and technologies used do not have a negative impact on the health of the living

Сохранили природу участка

the construction of Bamboo Khutor, we wanted to show a healthy alternative to the concrete boxes in which Sochi is built. When designing, the main thing was to preserve the bamboo grove. As a result, in four years our grove has grown and grown stronger. In total, we have preserved and grown about fifty species of rare subtropical plants on the hotel's premises.

31.бамбуковая роща.jpg

Developed a special type of buildings

We have developed a special type of EcoMobiStudio (EMS) for residential buildings.

The design of EMS is prefabricated, it can be dismantled and taken out without compromising the soil of the territory.

EMS modules are set raised from the ground on screw stilts.

EMS residential modules were located in the lumen of the bamboo grove, preserving the existing flora and fauna as much as possible.

use of resources
Energy efficiency

We use a renewable energy source available for our terrain and climate - solar

feeds the battery, which provides night illumination of the street area of the hotel.

31.солнечная батарея.jpg

Солнечная коллектор

In 2018, we installed a solar collector on the roof of the main building.

The collector partially provides hot water in summer and heating in winter.

The system is combined: if the power of the solar collector is not enough turns on the diesel-gas boiler.

31.2018.солнечный коллектор установка (2
heating system

Its own heating system allows us to control the temperature in the rooms. We adapt the heating to the weather conditions and individual preferences of guests. By default, we keep the temperature of 16oC in the rooms. Guests can raise the temperature with the air conditioning system.   We can turn off the heating in certain rooms, which is especially important in the low season. As a technical solution, we have installed German Buderus boilers. Reliability and high quality provide a long life of equipment and requires less repairs. This means that we do not have to spend natural and monetary resources on frequent repairs and replacements.

efficiency solutions

At Bamboo Khutor, several solutions have been implemented to reduce electricity consumption:

efficiency appliances

The rooms, induction plates, air conditioners, refrigerators, kettles and other electrical appliances correspond to a high class of energy efficiency.

LED lighting

Fully LED lighting indoors and outdoors. Street lighting is partly done by solar energy.

Thermal insulation

We have chosen the right insulation for the subtropical climate. Finnish high-performance panels with mineral cotton wool are used as a heater in EMS. Mineral cotton wool provides sufficient insulation and at the same time ventilation of facades (if the facades are not ventilated, moisture stagnates and mold appears).

Heat-reflective roof materials

We used materials for the roof that reflect solar energy. On the light areas of the roof we have placed solar collectors or batteries, collect solar energy and use.

Bamboo Grove Crown

Our houses are located in such a way that are hidden in the shade of bamboo crowns or other vegetation. This significantly reduces the need to cool the room with air conditioning.

Eco-enlightenment of guests

We promote reasonable electrical consumption among guests. We tell you why you should not get carried away with the use of air conditioning in the heat - you can get sick. We encourage free rental of bicycles.

Рациональное использование водных ресурсов

Rainwater collection system

Rainwater from roofs is collected in two 0.3 cubic tanks. Small containers are used quickly for operational needs to prevent water from blooming in a warm climate. We planned to carry out water-collected watering of the territory, but in practice it often goes to filling children's water pistols. Under the small lounge area on Bamboo Khutor hides a fire pond. The underground reservoir feeds on rainwater and a small spring. In the dry period, we also use water to water the area.

31.бочка для сбора дождевой воды.jpg

Auto watering system

When the repair of the broken air conditioning cost more than the new one, we began to look for an environmentally friendly way out of the situation.

The air conditioning unit did not work. We eco-tuned the device:

we launched cold water instead of Freon.

Added racioality - connected the device in the system of the autofield.

The air conditioning looks like normal with a remote control.

Cold water cools the room, taking away the heat.

Further water is spent on watering the green roof, plantings along our central block and green fence.

So at Bamboo Farm we saved resources: gave a second life to broken hard-repaired things.

Every day we save energy by watering most of our plants at the same time as cooling the administrative rooms.

31.2018.бетонный забор, система орошения

Drinking water from every tap

We urge our guests to stop using bottled water (plastic).   At Bamboo Farm its well is about 1.5 dozen meters deep. Water is collected from the underground channel of the Mzymta River. This excludes the violation of the water balance of the territory. The water is cleaned in the filter system. The final stage is the decontamination of water in ultraviolet light. Water pipes are made of special plastic, which eliminates water pollution (unlike the operation of metal pipes).

Rational waste management

Sorting and composting

On the property, the waste is collected separately. Organic waste we composte and use as fertilizer on the beds.

Second life waste

We are committed to the 4R rule: reduce, reuse, recycle, rot.

We are committed to reducing waste.

By providing drinking water in our water supply, we were able to give up bottled water.

This is how we reduce the amount of plastic debris. We reuse, failed or unusable things.

The most striking example was the eco-friendly repair of the air conditioner.

Rescued broken equipment from the landfill, and organized the air conditioning system of the room and the autofield plants!  Our territory is decorated with man-made crafts: a pond from an old bath, a flowerbed-dresser and lampshades for street lampshades.

We recycle glass, plastic and paper, which we can't use ourselves. Organic waste is sorted, composted and used as fertilizer.

The ergonomics of the rooms

The layout of the room provides: a place of sleep, food, hygiene and even a place for mobile activities. The versatility of the room is provided by thoughtful planning, zoning, orientation and location of doors, windows, engineering infrastructure and furniture.

31.эргономика номера.jpg
БХ outside11.jpg

Designing rooms we used the experience of The Scandinavian countries: making them comfortable and ergonomic, without unnecessary ostentatious luxury.

We thought through the smallest details, up to the location of the hooks at a convenient distance, to reach at the exit of the shower.

Strong sleep provides orthopedically correct mattresses and hypoallergenic linen.

Healthy breakfasts

We prepare breakfasts for our guests from local products.

Products are purchased in proven farms, or grown on their territory with a minimum of fertilizer and without the use of chemicals.

Seasonal fruits and vegetables grown at Babuk Khutor complement the buffet. In summer, a frequent guest of breakfast figs. Autumn kiwi, persimmon, pecans. From un eaten fruit we make homemade jam.   In the spring, with sanitary cutting, bamboo grove we harvest young bamboo shoots. Marinated bamboo sprouts also become an interesting addition to breakfasts.

We send the residues of organic waste to the compost, which we use in the future as fertilizer.

Maintain an active lifestyle for guests

The hotel has an outdoor sports terrace, you can rent bicycles, sticks for Scandinavian walking, tourist equipment.

There is a volleyball court on the nearest beach. In order to be less tempted to be lazy and sit in the room, they do not have TVs.

We came to the sea on a subtropical resort - you need to rest actively. Tv in the hotel alone in the common guest area.

The main dating site at Bamboo Farm is a playground.

Our little guests very quickly find new comrades.

Letting the children play on the premises of our hotel, parents can not worry. The hotel is closed and smoking is only allowed in special places.

Useful tea parties

search of natural and useful tea, we met the chief phytologist of the hot-key company Grass of the Caucasus.

Thanks to this, two types of tea herbal gatherings appeared on Bamboo Farm - tonic in the morning and soothing evening.

Useful sweets for tea, homemade jams, honey, send our guests.

Rooms without TVs

We are for people to come to the subtropical resort, enjoy the climate and communication, improve their health in the fresh air.

The hotel has one TV in the common area.

Of course, the decision of "number without a TV" was risky and controversial. However, the feedback of our guests calmed our doubts.

Family head and guru of Ecodevelopment

As a leader and responsible person, Valery was always thinking what he was doing and why. He saw the meaning of his activities in producing values for society.

From the university years Valery was caring for other people. He formed a Mentoring Club where senior students was helping freshmen to cope with the study load and difficulties of independent life.  Experienced young people shared their knowledge and helped newcomers to stay in the university.

The professional career, started in late 80s during Perestroika period in Soviet Union.  Non-state business started to develop in the country where everything was state-owned.

Valery is one of the founding father of Centers for Scientific and Technical Creativity of the Youth. These Centers were the first prototypes of non-state business. In a team of five people they developed the regulations and standards by which the Centers worked all over the country.

In 90s Valery founded Innovation Center ROST, where continued making new economy clear and useful for ordinary people. They published manuals for people about effective usage of the new opportunities: "How to create a new type of firm and organize its’ effective work", "How to become a homeowner with maximum benefit".

Step by step Valery and his company turned into real estate area with specialization in realty for health and development. Valery focused on ecodevelopment or sustainable development closer to his 50s anniversary.

Valery sees health and development as a fundamental aspects of human life.

Valery firmly believes that the core of stable prosperous development is human and his habits. You can build advanced systems and processing plants for our garbage. But this development will cost you natural resources. By building a plant you won’t stop wasting.

Alternatively you can educate people and change their consumption habits. If people return to the recent past habits of minimum packaging, string bags, recycling of waste paper and buying milk in own cans it will tackle the waste problem in the core. Nurture of sustainable habits will take more time, but in the end, many resources of our planet will be saved. There is nothing more effective than a shift of human paradigm!

These days Valery is fully committed to social projects and promotion of the development approach EcoSanaClub.
